Sad I cant go on the residential part of my course.

My course co-ordinator has organised this great time for people to go and thinks its accessible because of a couple of ramps.

I cant talk about it on the FB so Im afraid you get lumbered!

http://www.embercombe.co...mp;id=75&Itemid=159

Is the place.

I have to have a full assessment of limited mobility before even thinking about going and there is no going there. My PA has rung up and sorted it all out, without her I would be stuffed because I would have arrived and couldnt have managed to actually take part in anything.

I'm ever so disappointed.

I just want to go the same as everyone else.

Rather fed up.

You know what

I'm a plucky so and so.

I have spoken to the place and they say its do-able and so I'm going to do it. One of the other ladies on my course has kindly offered to help me when I'm there.

If I get stuck up the bloody hill- I can ring jean and ermintrude to give me a tow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hahahahahaha

Yes, Jenni, you are amazing and good for the venue that they are prepared to help you. I'm more than a tad annoyed with the organisers for not making sure the place is accessible but there you go!

Ermintrude is aways at your disposal - as is the wheeled commode and I'm sure Dor would be only too happy to trundle her tea urn along if you were stuck without refreshments!

Much love xxxx

hi jenni,
i find it shocking that there is not more done for people who use wheel chairs! i live in london and the tubes are a joke. i wanted my mum to come stay with me a few years ago and suddenly realised that only about 6 tube stations actually had wheel chair access and one of them had a ramp leading to a bunch of stairs hmm helpful!
